Olympia SM2 - German Standard Keyboard

Here we have a very early Olympia SM2 in light German green with the German standard keyboard.

This beauty was hand carried to the U.S.A. sometime in the late 50's as even the instructions are printed in German.

The machine was fitted to a trunk like case that appears to be factory with brass trim. (corners, locks, etc.)

I had recommended this machine to Warner Brothers for their new movie, "A Good German" however, at the last minute there was a change and they went for the tobacco Royal Quiet DeLuxe on my site. (by the way I have had a second tobacco Royal QD come in that is in even better condtion than the model pictured in the above link.)
