1941 Royal Aristocrat - French accent version

Here you will find a beautiful and rare Royal French accented version of the Aristocrat. I would place this mint Royal at about 1941 with the serial number at 106xxxx.

As there were no models made for the rest of the war, and with the demand for the best models at any price, I would think that someone would need to have a friend or friends in the right places for them to come up with the last of the top of the line Royal de Luxes and then to have the factory install six or seven special keys. This was not a homemade job, as they are also dead keys. This was made so that you would not need to back space when typing the accent.

In the rush to have the roll of film put on a disc, I failed to see that the only close up shot I had of the keyboard show not only the accents, but one very Gay Lady in costume, with beer "Stein" in hand.

Ah well, a Rose is a Rose is a Rose and so on....
