1939 Underwood "World Fair" model
|
|

I offer this classic Underwood as an alternative to
the tired old Underwood #5 door stop.
Right out of th Bogart/Hemingway era, a Master Model
Underwood from the late '30's. this model is sometimes referred to
as the "World Fair" model Underwood that was introduced in 1939.

This was the last Underwood desktop typewriter manufactured
by Underwood before World War II. Most, if not all typewriters were
drafted for use by the war effort once the war broke out and Underwood
concentrated chiefly on manufacturing M-1 carbine rifle parts until
VJ day.
As you can see by the nickel accent parts, this was
a very early model. Most machines were made with out the nickel parts.
This classic beauty comes ready to use and fully restored
with my guarantee
