Royal Portable - 1929 - Orange and Black

Here we have a 1929 Royal Portable in factory orange and high gloss black.

As can be seen in these pictures, this machine is near mint in its paint, decals and nickel. In order to take this old timer out of the category of "display piece for show and tell" and move it into the "Fine Old Typer" column - I gave her a new platen, feed rolls and a complete lubrication.

As the cases for these old beauty's were made of wood some eighty plus years ago, they have long since become useless. For that reason, I am including a soft travel case to offer this old banger a bit of protection for the guy or gal on the go.
