This old timer from the 20's was made at the Remington
factory, and the only difference between it and the Remington
No. 6 is the decals of Underwood.
Now - you can find Remington No. 6's fairly easily,
but this particular Underwood is much rarer, especially in good
condition.
This machine is of special interest to true Underwood
Collector's because of its scarcity and should move out very fast.
I have done my usual restoration / cleaning of
this old banger, as my regular customers can attest, neither they
or I have any use for a machine that isn't usable for anything
other than a doorstop / paperweight! Although to be truthful,
because of its age, I would only use this machine for the occasional
short novel and not for everyday use.
This machine comes with my verified stamp of "Fine
old typewriter" and an "Official Wordsmith t-shirt."
