It had been ten years since Royal had brought out their first portable, and they knew that it was time to move on.

To close that era, Royal dressed up the last few "old-timers" with a lot of chrome and a much nicer finish.

This mint 1936/37 Royal Custom Deluxe marks the end of that era. For the collector/typist only, and it comes with a very nice carrying case.
