"As Time Goes By... "

With the 1936 Deluxe being the all time showboat of the Royal line, I will be offering a few of the designer series from time to time. The first of that series is a two-tone black and metallic charcoal model with gray key tops.

Now I have seen this model in two-tone forest green as well as the same in burgundy, but I have not seen this variation too often.

The DeLuxe model was produced from 1935 through 1938 in the standard format, first with the 'A' model called the DeLuxe or Quiet and then the 'B' model that was a high gloss with the chrome/matted and textured surface.

All were the same machine and not to be confused with the Mickey Mouse 'O' model which was the cut-down version without the tabulator, heavy plating and million dollar finish. The 'O' model turns up very often on eBay.
